Andrea Muehlhaus, a surrogate program coordinator at West Coast Surrogacy (WCS) recently completed her second surrogacy journey. Muehlhaus gave birth in late July to a healthy baby boy – whose parents, Robbie Cronrod and Allen Artcliff-Cronrod were thrilled to finally build their family in the way they had hoped to since their first date. Muehlhaus’ motivation stemmed from an inner need to “give back in some way”, and she “wanted to help gay couples because they can’t have a child on their own.” As she is not biologically related to the baby, Muehlhaus is a part of an increasingly mainstream group of gestational surrogates who help dreams come true for future parents all around the world.
