Ash Saverino is a valued member of our team serving as a Case Coordinator with West Coast Surrogacy and our dedicated Surrogacy Birth Coordinator and Perinatal Support Specialist.
With over a decade of experience in the field of reproductive and pregnancy health and wellness as a fertility support specialist, childbirth educator, birth and postpartum doula, and wellness practitioner, Ash brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our organization. Her most recent education addition is her completion of UC San Diego, Extended Studies Division’s Lactation Education Counselor Program to further support her passion for postpartum care, especially as it relates to surrogacy births.
Throughout her career, Ash has been deeply involved in LGBTQ+ parenting initiatives, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the San Diego LGBT Center and Family Equality. Her dedication to inclusive and affirming care has positively impacted countless families within the community.
Having recently embarked on her own surrogacy journey, Ash intimately understands the significance of feeling seen, heard, and supported throughout the process. She firmly believes that nurturing open communication not only fosters positive experiences but also contributes to better birth outcomes for everyone involved.
As you transition to obstetric care, Ash will serve as an invaluable resource, working in close collaboration with your case coordinator to address any concerns and provide comprehensive support related to your upcoming birth. From navigating hospital policies to arranging hospital tours, and connecting you with local doulas if requested, Ash is dedicated to ensuring you have access to the resources you need for a smooth and fulfilling journey.
Additionally, Ash has developed an online birth workshop and workbook specifically tailored to surrogacy births, providing invaluable insights into the complexities and beauty of surrogacy birth experiences. These resources, designed for surrogates, intended parents, and their support networks, will be made available to you during the birth preparation and planning stage of your journey.
